The Salinas Valley Hypnosis Institute, located in Carmel, California, offers individual and group programs for smoking cessation, weight reduction and immune system enhancement. The Institute also offers classes teaching self management skills for personal success. The skills range from reducing stress, muscle spasms, and chronic pain to learning to set business, personal & family/relationship goals.

Appointments for individuals can be made for the office or in the client’s home. Free seminars and group classes are held in various locations in the Monterey Bay area. (Central California) If you are interested in attending a seminar or class, call 831-250-7405. All first-time appointments are one and one-half hours in length. The first half-hour is free and if a client decides not to continue, there is no charge.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Why should I learn self-hypnosis?
There are many good reasons.  It's the ultimate self-improvement tool.  Once you have learned to do self-hypnosis, you can use it in every part of your life from setting goals and changing difficult habits to programming your immune system.

Balancing stress is at the top of a very long list. Stress is generated by your every thought and physical action every minute of every day. Sleep is the normal process for balancing stress on a daily basis. It's scientifically proven that thirty minutes of self-hypnosis gives the same rest or stress balancing as eight hours of more of quality sleep.


2. If sleep balances my stress, why do I need self-hypnosis?
Sleep does a good job of balancing physical stress but a poor job of mental stress or anxiety. Stress which is not balanced on a daily basis is stored in your body. As this storage of stress becomes greater in volume, changes in your body occur; changes which affect your immune system, metabolism, and other systems as well as creativity, fears and life perspective. One of many symptoms of a high volume of stored stress is insomnia.


3. How do I know if stress is affecting my immune system?

When your immune system is operating properly, you do not have common colds, flu, or
other types of infections. An immune system that isn’t operating properly, over a period of time, will allow many diseases to develop ranging from arthritis, diabetes and high blood pressure to most types of cancer.

4. If I have health problems caused by a stored volume of stress, is there anything I can do?
Yes. You can learn self-hypnosis and do a minimum session of thirty minutes every day. If you are currently having problems sleeping seven or eight hours a night, you will be able to experience quality sleep after six to eight weeks of doing the thirty-minute self-hypnosis sessions. The rest gained from a combination of nights of quality sleep and self-hypnosis sessions allows your body to heal.

5. Suppose I can’t be hypnotized?
Everyone can be hypnotized and everyone can learn self-hypnosis. The process of hypnosis (focusing your mind) leads you into a normal range of your consciousness, one that you go through on your way to and from sleep. There is no loss of control or weird feelings, only deep physical relaxation, peace and calm.

6. How about making changes in my life?
Learning about goals and using self-hypnosis skills to bring them into reality allows you the freedom to make changes easily. Difficult habits and addictions can be terminated with the skills learned in The
Self-Hypnosis Course and Mini-Courses.

7. Will self-hypnosis sessions help migraine headaches, muscle spasms and pain?

8. Will I learn self-hypnosis and the skills taught in the home study course as easily as in a live class?
